Just stopped in for a quick beer and to see what changes had been made as we saw workers cutting wood outside for weeks! They now offer tall booths in the dining area. They also offer STELLA on Tap.. Good enough for me! Came to $8 plus tax. Pleasant and quick service. We'll be back with friends to try their cuisine tomorrow. Menu looked like it would be appropriate for the area with a little bit of a mix and prices are reasonable. The couple next to us ordered the shrimp & garlic with pasta and the aroma was fantastic!! Will check back in after our next visit.
We ate at the Wantage pub for dinner the waiter Brian was awesome. From the appetizers to the meal all was excellent .Going forward this will be our favorite place to eat. NO more Apple Bee's for us
That first lady to review needs to relax. We came AFTER the opening, not before, ( and she needs to understand that) the food was excellent. Roast beef and cheddar. Excellent. The veggie burger was wonderful. Not some hockey puck but portabella mushroom topped with sauteed onions peppers.and goodness.
And no I am not friends or work for this place.

Second time there in a month and service still very good..friendly bartenders and servers. Really good nachos chili appy and calamari. .awesome siźzling steak. Def do again ! Love the bar area atmosphere.
We went back and hubby ordered the shrimp and garlic with pasta which he devoured! lots of flavor AND six or seven large shrimp!! I had the fish and chips which were good, maybe could have been just a bit crisper, but I put the malt vinegar on, so that really doesn't matter. Nice flaky, tender cod. Entrees came with a salad, bread and we had two glasses of wine each and the meal came to under $70, just to reiterate the reasonableness of the prices. The portions are not huge so don't plan on take home BUT they are plentiful, full of flavor and again, well priced! I'm sorry I did not get our server's name (I hate that word, is waitress outdated??) but she was so pleasant - she was the only one working the about six tables when we were there, but she never seemed overwhelmed and again, was pleasant and courteous. Food takes time to cook, so enjoy the time you have away from home and your own kitchen and have a friendly dinner in a nice local place!
